Primary Responsibilities Design and implement UI and micro-services Build product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders Monitor application health and performance as part of DevOps Create innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business and to improve the overall health and reliability of the applications Define coding standards and best practices Build Cloud-ready applications Support the QE/UAT team during testing via defect fixes, code deployment, clarifications Understanding and implementation of security and data protection Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience with Java 4+ years of experience designing and implementing RESTful services 4+ years of Agile delivery experience 4+ years of experience in building microservices using Spring Boot 4+ years of experience working on an agile team 4+ years of experience development/ maintaining CI/CD pipelines 4+ years of experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases 4+ years of experience developing applications in React including component design and state management Experience in Kafka or other event streaming technologies Experience in Docker, Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, Dynatrace Experience working in a DevOps model Familiar with performance management Proven solid communication and problem-solving skills Proven ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment while maintaining adherence to standards and best practices At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
