Primary Responsibilities Develop and maintain Java-based applications on the AWS platform Design and implement microservices architecture using Spring Boot Integrate AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB into applications Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Maven, and Git Optimize application performance and troubleshoot deployment issues Ensure security and compliance best practices in cloud environments Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions Document technical designs and maintain system architecture diagrams Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science Engineering, IT, or related field 3+ years in Java and Cloud Services Technical Skills: Experience with frameworks like Spring, Hibernate Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and SQL/ NOSQL databases Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform Solid knowledge of Java, Java SE/EE Understanding of build tools (Maven/Gradle) and version control (Git) At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
