Salary, £70,000 to £74,000 plus benefits

An established business is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join its in house technology team. This role suits a senior engineer who enjoys staying close to the code while leading others, setting technical direction, and raising capability across a development team.

You will bring strong hands on expertise in Microsoft technologies, alongside the leadership skills to mentor developers, guide best practice, and become a trusted senior voice across projects.

What you will do

• Lead technical delivery across business critical systems
• Mentor and support developers, helping them grow in capability and confidence
• Provide technical guidance on architecture, coding standards, and delivery approach
• Join project meetings and contribute to planning, design, and technical decision making
• Work closely with stakeholders across the business to shape solutions
• Stay hands on with development, alongside leadership and team support responsibilities

What you will bring

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET
• SQL knowledge
• Azure cloud experience
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable software solutions
• Proven ability to mentor developers and provide technical leadership
• Strong communication skills, able to work across technical and non technical teams
• Exposure to Blazor would be an advantage
