Primary Responsibilities Team Player in an Agile team within a Release Team/Value Stream Develop and automate business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications Technically hands on and excellent in Design, Coding and Testing Collectively responsible for end-to-end product quality Participates and contributes in Sprint Ceremonies Promote and develop the culture of collaboration, accountability & quality Provides technical support to team. Helps team in resolving technical issues Closely working with Tech Lead, Onshore partners, deployment and infrastructure teams Independently drive some of the product and pillar level initiatives Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications 6+ years of experience across multiple technology layers 4+ years of hands-on experience in Agile teams Solid understanding of data/information security principles Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns Proven excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Technical Skills: Programming & Frameworks Python, Go, React DevOps & Automation Terraform (IaC), Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Redis CI/CD pipeline design and automation Build tools: Maven, Gradle Code quality & security: SonarQube, Fortify Cloud & Infrastructure 5+ years with Azure, AWS, or OpenShift Familiarity with serverless and cloud-managed infrastructure Databases & Data Engineering SQL, PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB Data platforms: Databricks, Snowflake ETL tools: Microsoft SSIS Data Quality Frameworks Monitoring & Performance JMeter, New Relic, Groovy scripting At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
