We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer In This Role You Will Contribute to automation development using Python, Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, AWS CODE DEPLOY, Digital Nexus tools. Support infrastructure automation initiatives across regions under the guidance of technical leads Collaborate with cross-functional teams within HSBC infrastructure to ensure smooth integration and delivery Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, and deployment of automation solutions Investigate technical challenges, propose solutions, and adopt best practices from the global engineering community Follow and help implement technical standards, governance models, and automation tooling across the engineering lifecycle Work within a scrum team to support the technical roadmap and service delivery goals Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code modules Demonstrated hands-on experience on cloud environments , Git hub, and Jenkins in a production environment To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: 2?5 years of experience in infrastructure automation using Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, Terraform, and Cloud SDKs Working knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native architecture principles, SDLC governance and implementation using gitops workflow Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and data management fundamentals Experience with DevOps tools and practices including CI/CD, configuration management, and automated testing Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills Exposure to AI/ML concepts or interest in applying them to automation is a plus Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate effectively within a team Awareness of financial services industry standards, compliance, and security best practices Preferred certified cloud engineer ? AWS/GCP.
