Responsibilities Collaborate with technical and business leaders during Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations to review requirements and estimate configuration and technical efforts Design and validate technical specifications aligned with user stories and Guidewire development best practices Utilize Guidewire accelerators and architectural patterns to expedite integration and product development Develop code that adheres to standards, undergoes unit testing, and receives thorough peer reviews Create integration solutions including batch processes, message queues, and event messaging Develop integrations for both internal and external consumers using Guidewire EDGE APIs and extended models Build reusable domain-based API solutions leveraging Guidewire EDGE-oriented models Establish and execute unit and integration tests, automating as agreed Conduct code reviews and ensure comprehensive testing in continuous integration and deployment pipelines Manage code gate-checking before promotion to higher environments Provide support throughout lifecycle phases including production support and maintenance Lead and guide integration efforts while facilitating collaboration among teams ? Requirements 5-8 years of experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter integration development Overall 5+ years of experience in web-based Java/J2EE or .NET application development Strong expertise in Guidewire Edge APIs with experience exposing Guidewire functionality to external consumers Advanced knowledge of XML, JSON, and SQL Experience with transactional, account, and user-management integrations involving Guidewire PolicyCenter Proficiency in web service hosting and consumption using Guidewire EDGE Layer Background in designing and developing REST APIs or web services to expose Guidewire features Experience leading offshore teams preferred Familiarity with the commercial property and casualty insurance industry Competency in Agile methodologies and tools such as TFS, Rally, or JIRA Experience with source control tools like GIT or TFS Strong understanding of Guidewire integration concepts, including batch processing, message queues, and event processing Proficient problem-solving and analytical skills Capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively ? Nice to have Experience with Guidewire Product Designer, GX Model, and Product Model development Leadership experience in offshore team management Knowledge of reconciliation processes within insurance integrations
