Senior Software Engineer - Frontend Join us as a Senior Software Engineer - Frontend on our Engineering team in Bangalore Location, to do the best work of your career and make a profound impact. What you?ll achieve As a Senior Software Engineer - Frontend, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer?s business goals, needs and general business environment. You will work with product management, other engineering teams, customer success and support on developing cutting edge new product features and enhancements across various areas of Boomi offerings. Key Responsibilities: Frontend Development Design and develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using React.js, LIT, HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Build reusable components and libraries, following coding standards and design patterns. Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and stability. Collaborate with UX designers to ensure the best user experience. Testing & Code Quality Provide strong unit test coverage using tools like Jest, React Testing Library. Write or contribute to automation test cases where needed as part of the broader frontend testing strategy with tools like Playwright Perform peer reviews and contribute to code quality and continuous improvement initiatives. Performance Optimization Optimize application performance using relevant tools & techniques Monitor and improve frontend performance across load time, memory, and responsiveness. Collaboration & Communication Collaborate with developers, designers, QA, and product owners. Take part in code reviews, technical discussions, and planning sessions. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies ? stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Release & Deployment Own features from development to deployment, ensuring quality and readiness. Participate in release readiness reviews, ensuring features meet acceptance criteria. Troubleshoot basic deployment issues in coordination with the DevOps team Team Enablement Mentor and support junior engineers, helping them grow in technical depth and delivery quality. Lead knowledge transfer (KT) sessions and document key learnings or changes. Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment. What We're Looking For 6+ years of frontend development experience with hands-on expertise in Frontend (React). Experience working with UI frameworks (e.g. React, Angular or Similar) Strong command of CSS, including layouts, animations, and responsive design. Basic understanding of DevOps workflows and the ability to troubleshoot deployment-related issues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills. Nice to have: Basic proficiency in JavaScript. Nice to have: Familiarity with any frontend test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium) Nice to have: Familiarity with Linux/UNIX environment Nice to have: Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS) Be Bold.
