As part of Fluidra’s global digital portfolio — a €2.2B global leader in pool and wellness solutions — we are transforming how pool service companies operate, from scheduling and invoicing to route optimization and customer experience.

With our US launch underway and European expansion planned, we are strengthening our engineering team in Pune.

What You’ll Own

Hands-on Development

• Actively contributes to development across multi-tenant scheduling UI, dashboards, billing surface, route-optimization client. Bleeding-edge stack (Next 16, React 19, MUI 9). Write down high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
• “Own feature delivery in the Next.js web application — pages, components, state, performance, and API integration.”
• Knowledge of “Laravel REST APIs as a consumer — comfortable reading OpenAPI / Scribe docs and reasoning about contract changes.”

Technical Contribution & Guidance

• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers on system design and technical decisions
• Provide input on architecture, performance optimization, and scalability
• Support implementation of coding standards, testing practices, and quality benchmarks

Agile Execution

• Work within a structured Agile/Scrum environment
• Contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and timely delivery of features
• Proactively identify and resolve blockers

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with product, design, and global engineering teams across the US, Australia, and Europe
• Communicate effectively across time zones with clarity and accountability

Platform Development

• Contribute to development of:
• “Next.js / React web application — multi-tenant scheduling UI, dashboards, billing surface, route-optimization client. Bleeding-edge stack (Next 16, React 19, MUI 9).”
• “Laravel REST APIs as a consumer — comfortable reading OpenAPI / Scribe docs and reasoning about contract changes.”

Mentorship

• Support and mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• Promote best practices in coding, debugging, and system design

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 7+ years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience in modern front-end and/or mobile technologies
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Exposure to SaaS product development

Technical Skills

• Next.js 14+ App Router; React 18+; comfort with RSCs, streaming, and partial pre-rendering. TypeScript / Java Script and modern frontend architecture
• TypeScript 5.x — generics, discriminated unions, typed API contracts, MUI theming types.
• “MUI v9 fluency — @mui/material, @mui/x-data-grid-pro, @mui/x-date-pickers-pro. (Without it the codebase is opaque.)
• “Redux Toolkit + redux-persist + redux-thunk; comfortable with the legacy mix.”
• “Performance — Web Vitals, React Profiler, bundle analysis (@next/bundle-analyzer), code splitting, memoization.
• “Sentry observability hands-on (Next.js).”
• “Forms — Formik + Yup or equivalent.”
• “Pragmatic AI-augmented engineering (Copilot / Cursor).”
• Good to have backend exposure to Laravel/PHP and REST APIs
• Database knowledge: MySQL, Redis
• Familiarity with AWS (S3, RDS, etc.) and cloud-based deployments
• Experience with third-party integrations and API-driven development
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)

Preferred

• Experience with WEB and SaaS applications
• “Sentry source-map upload, Web Vitals analytics, performance budgets.”
• “FullCalendar resource-timeline or comparable complex scheduling UI.”
• “i18n — i18next + react-i18next.”
• “Stripe React (billing flows).”

Profile

• Comfortable working within a design system; familiar with Figma.”
• “Strong hands-on experience in modern web frontend technologies.”

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
