Senior Software Engineer – Core Device Communication Software (.NET)

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with US‑based engineers and cross‑functional product development partners
• Own the architecture, design, and implementation of new features in a cross-platform C#/.NET library that powers hearing aid communication and configuration
• Drive long-term evolution of the library’s API surface, compatibility, and performance
• Write clear, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage
• Develop performance-sensitive algorithms where correctness and efficiency are critical

Required Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to clearly express and understand complex technical concepts in a US‑based engineering environment
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience on software engineering teams developing shared, production-grade .NET class libraries or SDKs in C#
• Proven ability to drive architectural decisions by leading teams in evaluating complex technical tradeoffs
• Proven people leadership experience, including interviewing, mentoring, and developing engineers toward greater ownership and impact
• Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams
• Deep expertise in C# and modern .NET

Preferred Experience

• Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) client development on Windows and Linux, including building libraries that manage device connection and control over BLE using USB‑attached radios and hardware APIs
• Embedded BLE firmware development for central and peripheral devices, including connection management, GATT implementation, and protocol-level communication
• Performance‑sensitive systems in resource‑constrained environments
