About the Role

Pilgrim India is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Shopify Developer to join our E-commerce team. In this role, you will develop, customize, and optimize our Shopify storefront to deliver an exceptional online shopping experience. You will work on theme customization, landing pages, app integrations, website performance optimization, and new feature development while collaborating closely with the Design, Marketing, and Product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify storefronts using Shopify, Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Build and optimize landing pages, campaign pages, product pages, and custom Shopify sections.
• Customize Shopify themes and implement new features to enhance user experience.
• Optimize website speed, performance, responsiveness, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Integrate and manage third-party Shopify apps, tracking pixels, metafields, and custom functionalities.
• Collaborate with the Design, Marketing, and Product teams to launch campaigns and implement new features.
• Write clean, scalable, and reusable code using Git version control.
• Follow e-commerce and CRO best practices to improve website performance and conversion rates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–9 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development.
• Strong expertise in Shopify, Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, theme customization, and Shopify app integrations.
• Experience with responsive web development, debugging, Git, and website performance optimization.
• Good understanding of e-commerce platforms and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Good to have experience with Shopify Plus, custom sections, meta fields, tracking pixels, and Headless Shopify.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
