Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, India. This role is responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies that increase organic traffic, improve search rankings, and support lead generation for QServices and its clients. Day-to-day tasks include performing technical and on-page SEO audits, conducting keyword research, optimizing website content and structure, and managing link-building initiatives. The SEO Manager will monitor performance using web analytics tools, prepare regular reports, and collaborate closely with marketing, content, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital properties. The role also involves staying current with search engine algorithm updates and industry trends to continuously refine and improve SEO tactics.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in SEO Audits and technical/on-page optimization to identify and resolve performance and ranking issues.
  • Candidates should possess solid Keyword Research skills to develop targeted, data-driven strategies aligned with business and campaign goals.
  • Candidates should possess experience in Link Building and off-page SEO to grow domain authority and improve organic visibility.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in Web Analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools) to measure, interpret, and present SEO performance.
  • Candidates should possess a foundation in Marketing principles, including digital marketing strategy, content optimization, and conversion-focused campaign support.
  • Relevant experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz) and CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in SEO and digital marketing.
  • Experience working with B2B technology or SaaS companies, and familiarity with Microsoft technologies or cloud platforms, is an advantage.
