Summary UST is looking for Senior Search Developer The Opportunity Translate business goals into technical requirements, conduct code/design reviews, and drive the technical implementation of web projects throughout the project lifecycle Design, develop, and maintain scalable and stable web, mobile and eCommerce solutions that meet business needs. Partner with Visual Design and User Experience teams to develop effective/engaging designs. Own and drive specific area(s) of website functionality such as search, products, account, videos, web site performance ? including prioritized enhancement stories and development of features for those areas of responsibility Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and agile development What You Need At least 7 years of web application development experience in the search field Advanced Java expertise Expert with Apache SOLR and Spring Boot Experience with SOLR Master/Slave Replication implementations or SOLR Cloud Solid understanding of consuming and building RESTful APIs Experience with React, HTML and CSS Knowledge of current search engine trends and best practices on topics such as keywords, tuning, synonyms, boost/bury, SEO, etc. Experience with SAP Commerce and Adobe Experience Manager is a plus Technologies Solr, Java, Spring boot, React, API, website search technologies, SEO, continuous deployment and DevOps tools, Git Desired Skills Ability to write & document clean and efficient code Understanding of common development principles and design patterns Understanding of the software development process, version control Agile development experience.
