Position: Sales Officer

Job Purpose

The Sales Officer is responsible for appointing new distributors, increasing primary and secondary sales, expanding market coverage, and ensuring strong retailer engagement within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and appoint new distributors in vacant territories.
- Achieve monthly sales and distribution targets.
- Increase product availability and visibility in retail outlets.
- Visit distributors and retailers regularly according to the beat plan.
- Generate orders and coordinate timely order fulfillment.
- Develop new retail outlets and strengthen existing customer relationships.
- Monitor competitor pricing, schemes, and market activities.
- Ensure proper merchandising and product placement at retail stores.
- Collect market intelligence and submit daily activity reports.
- Coordinate with distributors to improve stock availability and reduce stock-outs.
- Assist in collections and ensure adherence to company credit policies.
- Participate in promotional activities, product launches, and sales campaigns.

Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- 3-5 years of FMCG sales experience (preferred).

Skills Required

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build distributor and retailer relationships.
- Target-oriented with good problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of smartphones and sales reporting apps.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
