Role Description The Senior Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, responsible for leading sales activities and driving revenue growth across assigned territories and segments. The role includes managing and mentoring a sales team, setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and implementing strategies to increase market share for Everbond Paints. The Senior Sales Manager will build and maintain key relationships with distributors, retailers, contractors, and institutional clients, while negotiating pricing and contracts to achieve profitable outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities involve visiting customers, overseeing pipeline management and forecasting, coordinating with marketing and operations, and preparing regular sales reports and business reviews for leadership. The role also requires staying current with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and refine sales approaches.
Qualifications
- Strong sales leadership skills, including team management, target setting, and performance coaching.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in paints, coatings, building materials, or related industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities with diverse stakeholders.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in sales planning, forecasting, and using CRM or sales management tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, travel regularly for client visits, and manage multiple accounts and projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced qualification is an advantage.
- Demonstrated capacity to develop new business, expand existing accounts, and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on ethical, customer-centric decision-making.
