With our US launch underway and European expansion planned, we are strengthening our engineering team in Pune.

What You’ll Own

Hands-on Development

• Actively contribute to development across the stack — mobile (React Native)
• Write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices

Technical Contribution & Guidance

• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers on system design and technical decisions
• Provide input on architecture, performance optimization, and scalability
• Support implementation of coding standards, testing practices, and quality benchmarks

Agile Execution

• Work within a structured Agile/Scrum environment
• Contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and timely delivery of features
• Proactively identify and resolve blockers

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with product, design, and global engineering teams across the US, Australia, and Europe
• Communicate effectively across time zones with clarity and accountability

Platform Development

• Contribute to development of:
• “Mobile React Native applications (iOS + Android, with Windows and Web compile targets). Offline-first, BLE-connected to pool-service hardware, multi-tenant production traffic in AU + US.”
• “Own the React Native codebase end-to-end — feature delivery, native modules, offline sync, push notifications, and the iOS + Android release pipeline.”

Mentorship

• Support and mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• Promote best practices in coding, debugging, and system design

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience “React Native 0.74+ with New Architecture — Fabric, Turbo / Nitro modules, Reanimated v4 worklets.”
• Comfortable consuming REST APIs and reasoning about contract changes.” (Remove Laravel/PHP — not their stack.)
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Exposure to SaaS product development

Technical Skills

• React Native (hands-on experience required)
• TypeScript and modern frontend architecture
• Offline-first architecture — sync, local persistence, conflict resolution, network-state-aware UX.
• “Hands-on Firebase across analytics, crashlytics, messaging (FCM), remote config, and performance.”
• “Native-module debugging or extension — at least one production native-side fix in the candidate’s history.”
• “On-device performance profiling — Hermes, DevTools / Flipper, worklets, frame-time analysis.”
• “Sentry observability (RN).”
• “i18n in RN — i18next + react-i18next + react-native-localize
• “Pragmatic AI-augmented engineering (Copilot / Cursor).”
• State management (Redux Toolkit or equivalent)
• Knowledge of backend exposure to Laravel/PHP and REST APIs
• Database knowledge: MySQL, Redis
• Familiarity with AWS (S3, RDS, etc.) and cloud-based deployments
• Experience with third-party integrations and API-driven development
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)

Preferred

• Experience with mobile-first or offline-first applications
• Familiarity with Firebase tools (Crashlytics, Analytics, etc.)
• Exposure to performance optimization and debugging complex systems
• Experience working with global/distributed teams

Qualification
