Senior Quality Control (QA/QC) Engineer ? Premium Residential (Civil & Interiors)

About the Role Are you a perfectionist? Do you have the courage to stop a concrete pour if the steel binding isn?t right? Amiltus Builders is transitioning from regional dominance to a process-driven Pan-India brand. We are launching a premium project of 221 Duplex Row Houses (Turnkey with Interiors) and need a strong QA/QC Engineer to act as the "Guardian of Quality." You will not manage labor. Your sole job is to audit the work of the execution team and ensure every square foot meets "Amiltus Luxury Standards" before it is handed over to the customer. Key Responsibilities 1. Structural Integrity (Civil Works) The "Pour Card" Authority: You will manage the Hold-Point System . No concrete is poured without your signature on the checklist (Steel spacing, cover blocks, shuttering oil, cleanliness). Mechanized Control: Supervise the output of our Batching Plant/Self-Loading Mixers to ensure correct Water-Cement ratios and Grade (M20/M25). Lab Testing: Oversee daily testing: Cube Compressive Strength, Silt content in sand, and Brick water absorption. 2. Premium Finishing & Interiors (The Detail Game) Zero-Tolerance Finishing: Inspect plastering and brickwork for perfect 90-degree corners (Guniya) to ensure modular kitchens and wardrobes fit seamlessly. MEP Testing: Witness mandatory Hydro-Pneumatic pressure tests for plumbing and Nitrogen pressure tests for AC copper piping before tiling/plastering. Interior Audit: Check quality of incoming interior materials (BWP Marine Ply for kitchens, Hardware brands, False ceiling framing rigidity). 3. Process & Reporting Material Inward: Reject incoming trucks of bricks, sand, or aggregate if they do not match the approved sample. Snagging: Conduct pre-handover walkthroughs to identify defects (paint undulations, hollow tiles, door alignments) and enforce rectification. Reporting: Submit a weekly "Non-Conformance Report" (NCR) directly to the Director. Candidate Requirements Education: B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering. Experience: Minimum 5 years in Residential/Villa construction. Experience in Finishing/Interiors is highly preferred. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IS Codes , NBC 2016, and modern construction chemicals (waterproofing). Tools: Proficient in using Laser Levels , Total Stations, and Digital Measurement tools. Personality: Must be firm and unbiased. You must be comfortable saying "No" to contractors and Project Managers when quality is compromised. Why Join Amiltus?
