Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of our firewall and cybersecurity products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both manual and automation testing, with a passion for identifying issues before they reach customers. You will work closely with Product, Development, and Support teams to deliver high-quality releases in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing of firewall and cybersecurity products.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts and testing frameworks.
• Validate new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and security updates before release.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality assurance perspective.
• Conduct API testing and validate integrations with third-party systems.
• Ensure product stability, performance, and security across multiple deployment environments.
• Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices across the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience in Manual Testing and Test Case Design.
• Hands-on experience with Automation Testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Robot Framework, or similar.
• Good understanding of API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Understanding of Linux environments and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing Firewall, Network Security, Cybersecurity, VPN, NAC, or Security Products.
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, and Routing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
• Exposure to performance and security testing tools.
