Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

Required Technical Skill Set:

• Infrastructure knowledge including data centre operations, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud migration
• Understanding of enterprise application architecture and integration patterns
• Familiarity with Azure DevFactory and cloud-based testing
• Experience in functional, non-functional, integration, and migration testing
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), Confluence, and ServiceNow
• Knowledge of RHEL8 and Linux environments
• Database testing and migration validation
• Integration protocols such as HTTPS, JMS, REST, SFTP, SMTP, SOAP, SOLACE
• Middleware tools such as MQ, EDMI, KONG

Responsibilities / Expectations from the Role:

• Develop and execute structured test plans covering manual, integration, functional, and non-functional testing
• Create comprehensive test strategies for migration projects across all testing phases
• Ensure complete test coverage with proper documentation and defect tracking
• Perform end-to-end testing including regression, integration, and UAT with business users
• Ensure all defects are mapped to corresponding user stories
• Validate integrations across multiple external systems and interfaces
• Conduct non-functional testing including performance, security, and high availability
• Coordinate testing across multiple environments such as DevFactory and Pre-Prod
• Handle rollback testing, production cutover validation, and technical verification

Must-Have:

• 8+ years of experience in IT with focus on migration projects in financial services

• Proven experience in end-to-end migration including containerization and cloud adoption

• Strong QA and business analysis skills in regulated environments

• Deep understanding of banking systems and external integrations

• Experience in Agile, DevOps, and enterprise migration methodologies

Good-to-Have:

• Experience in automation testing frameworks
