Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in Quality Assurance specializing in test automation, functional testing, and performance testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Playwright with TypeScript, mobile automation using Appium, and performance testing using Apache JMeter. The candidate should be comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript.
Automate web application test cases including functional, regression, and end-to-end scenarios.
Develop and execute mobile automation scripts using Appium for Android and iOS platforms.
Perform manual functional testing to validate business workflows and application functionality.
Develop and execute performance and load tests using Apache JMeter.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI.
Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams during sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
Participate in test strategy creation, test planning, and defect triage meetings.
Maintain and improve automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.
Perform API testing and validation using tools like Postman or Playwright.
Ensure test coverage, code quality, and test reliability across releases.
Generate and analyze test reports, automation metrics, and performance reports.
Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices.

Required Skills

Test Automation

Strong experience in Playwright automation with TypeScript
Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
Knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) and test design patterns
Experience in cross-browser automation testing

Mobile Automation

Hands-on experience with Appium
Mobile automation testing for Android and iOS

Performance Testing

Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter
Experience in load testing, stress testing, and performance analysis

Functional Testing

Strong experience in manual functional testing
Test case design and execution
Regression, integration, and system testing

Agile & Tools

Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology
Familiarity with JIRA or other defect tracking tools
Experience with Git version control

CI/CD

Experience integrating tests with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
Experience generating automation reports (Allure, HTML reports)
