Position: Senior QA Engineer / Automation Architect (CE79SF RM 3700) Work Mode : Full time from Customer?s office Education Required : BE/B Tech/MCA About The Role We are looking for a hands-on Senior QA Engineer / Automation Architect to design and develop a web-based automation framework from scratch , while also contributing to manual testing of key modules. The project involves automation for a web product related to product portfolio scenarios. You will be the sole QA owner initially , responsible for both manual and automation testing, ensuring end-to-end product quality. Key Responsibilities Design and develop a Selenium-based automation framework using Python from scratch. Perform manual functional, regression, and UI testing for web modules. Identify test scenarios, create detailed test cases, and execute them. Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and identify automation opportunities. Maintain, enhance, and execute automated test scripts. Document the framework, automation coverage, and manual test results. Integrate automation tests into the DevOps CI/CD pipeline (good to have experience). Provide test reports, defect metrics, and quality status updates. Contribute to test planning, estimation, and risk assessment. Technical Skills Required 7?8 years of experience in QA, with strong exposure to both Manual and Automation Testing. Proficient in Selenium WebDriver with Python. Experience in building automation frameworks from scratch. Strong understanding of test design techniques, test case preparation, and defect management. Hands-on experience in manual testing of web applications. Familiarity with PyTest / Robot Framework preferred. Basic knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) ? good to have. Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Soft Skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong ownership and accountability mindset. Ability to work independently as an individual contributor. Good communication and collaboration skills across teams
