Senior QA Engineer (Automation Testing) – Forex / Financial Trading Domain

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in the Forex or financial trading domain to join our dynamic QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of complex trading platforms and financial applications.

You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to drive functional testing, test automation, and framework development for mission-critical financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain functional and automated test cases for trading systems
• Develop and enhance automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing
• Perform API testing and validation of RESTful services
• Execute performance and load testing for critical trading workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, log, and track defects
• Ensure high test coverage and adherence to QA best practices
• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
• Validate data accuracy using SQL and large datasets

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA Engineering with strong focus on functional testing and automation
• Proven experience in the Forex / financial trading / derivatives domain
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Postman, K6, Appium, or similar tools
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Experience with RESTful API testing and automation
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS
• Strong SQL skills and experience handling large datasets
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with real-time or high-frequency trading systems
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments
• Knowledge of performance and security testing for financial applications
