About the Role

You will join an international team working on a modern file-based payment solution for business and corporate customers, aimed at replacing legacy systems and improving payment processing capabilities. The platform integrates with existing payment infrastructures, enabling transaction processing and providing standardized XML-based file formats across multiple countries.

You will work in a SAFe Agile environment, with sprint-based deliveries and quarterly planning cycles, collaborating closely with distributed teams across Poland, Sweden, India, Finland, and Denmark.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating automation test strategy plans for application releases using established standards and methodologies
• Develop automated tests and manage the test repository
• Document test results and support defect management processes
• Execute automated test cases within defined timelines and report progress according to standards
• Provide testing support for production issue resolution
• Expand and enhance existing automation frameworks to support new technologies
• Apply best practices in test automation tools and frameworks to reduce redundancy
• Design test scenarios for system, integration, and acceptance testing
• Support manual testers in transitioning test cases into automation

Required Skills & Experience

• General testing knowledge (e.g., ISTQB Foundation level or equivalent)
• Ability to drive and support QA activities across the delivery team
• Willingness to continuously develop test automation skills
• Strong communication skills to promote automation practices within the team
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation (GUI/web or service-level REST testing)
• Programming skills in Java, Robot Framework, or Python
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Cucumber, Postman, or Chrome DevTools
• Proficiency in using Git
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and query creation
• Experience working with data formats such as XML, CSV, and JSON

Nice to Have

• Basic experience in performance testing (e.g., JMeter)
