About The Department

You will be part of the “Engineering/Ventomatic/Ventomatic (IN)” who are dedicated to implementing sustainable solutions for our customers. By joining this team, you will have the chance to work in an international environment involving different cultures and different challenges.

About The Role

To develop and grow in India, Packaging industry (Packers, Truck loaders, Wagon Loaders) market in conjunction with the Engineering team in India & Italy and to drive the long-term in Packaging product line. Continuously improve product operational efficiency, and the technical competence of the local team. Provide expert knowledge and support for the product line, from a process, mechanical, operational, maintenance and R&D perspective. To contribute strongly to the overall company result, culture and development.

Your Responsibilities

Responsibilities and duties includes Packaging industry (Packers, Truck loaders, Wagon Loaders)

• Develop cost effective design of products/process without compromising Safety and Quality
• Design and maintain optimized product /process/Layout design ranges
• Design and maintain standard product /process/Layout configurations – reduce lead time for both proposal and order execution.
• Regularly interact with suppliers/ Customer/internal stakeholders to optimize product design.
• Design and implement product improvements to maintain technical advantage.
• Main product design documentation and updated regularly Collect product performance data and analyze various performance parameters from various plant sites.
• Collect competitor product performance data, analyze and continuously improve own product design.
• Analyze various product/Project issues and implement permanent solutions.
• Act as face of our product to customers.
• Take part in the technical discussion during the sales process.
• Propose the relevant machinery/product. Designs and customizes the product as per client needs.
• Develops lasting relationship with customers.
• Train and develop engineers in product group
• Create correct product structures in the PDM system for project team to use Create network of key stakeholders in the organization.
• Present in seminars to promote the product to customers
  
  

What You Bring

• A relevant bachelors level qualification, ideally an engineering degree.
• At least 10-15 years’ experience within the Cement Industry-Packaging Products.
• At least 10 years’ experience in the product/Process development / Engineering Layout within cement packaging industry or from competitors.
• Existing strong network of key stakeholders within the Cement Industry-Packaging Products industry.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships and credibility both internally and with external clients with strong customer service skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Cement Industry-Packaging Products and how to design/improve them.
• Demonstrated experience with installation and maintenance of equipment and parts.
• Ability to work in a team or individually on multiple concurrent projects.
• Computer experience using standard MS Office suite of programs is required
• Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in order to work with customers, contractors and other personnel on a daily basis
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good organisation, multitasking and time management skills that delivers effective planning and housekeeping standards.
