🚀 Senior Program Manager – Global AI & Data Transformation (Contract / Freelance Only)

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re building a senior delivery team to run a major greenfield AI and data transformation program for a leading global consultancy. This is a multi-year, enterprise-wide initiative rolling out AI and advanced analytics across multiple business units.

WHY THIS ROLE IS GREAT

• The Scale: You’ll be leading one of the flagship AI and data programs in the US, coordinating streams spanning data platforms, MLOps, and AI product delivery.
• The Responsibility: You’ll sit at the heart of the program, driving roadmaps, budgets, and outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups (C‑suite, product, engineering, data).
• The Impact: You’re not just managing a project plan – you’re owning delivery of production AI and data solutions that materially change how a global enterprise operates and makes decisions.

WHO WE NEED (The “Must-Haves”)

We’re looking for heavy-hitting Program Managers who have already run large, complex AI/data programs in enterprise environments and can add value from Day 1.

Program & Delivery Leadership

• 8–10+ years in program / portfolio management across data, analytics, or AI initiatives.
• Proven track record running multi‑workstream programs (data platforms, ML products, integration, change) with budgets in the multi‑million range.
• Experience owning end‑to‑end delivery: roadmap, governance, risks/issues, RAID logs, and stakeholder communications.

AI & Data Transformation Experience

• Led programs involving data platforms, data pipelines, and machine learning products (not just software-only or infra-only).
• Able to translate between business, data science, and engineering teams – comfortable discussing use cases, model deployment, and data quality at exec level.
• Experience coordinating teams of data engineers, ML engineers, and product owners across multiple geographies/time zones.

Enterprise & Stakeholder Management

• Background in large enterprises or major consultancies, ideally in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.).
• C‑level stakeholder management: steering committees, exec reporting, benefits tracking, and dependency management across functions.
• Strong vendor and partner coordination across internal teams and external suppliers.

Nice-to-Haves

• Exposure to cloud-native data/AI stacks (AWS, Azure, or GCP data/ML services, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.).
• Experience managing programs that include LLM/GenAI, RAG, or advanced analytics at scale.
• Prior work with global consulting firms or AI transformation partners.
