As a Senior Production Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the core banking system (CBS) of the bank. This is a critical role that requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the core banking system (CBS) of the bank Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth functioning of the CBS Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve system efficiency and reliability Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in the banking industry Provide technical support and guidance to junior production engineers Participate in system upgrades and migrations Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards Document system configurations, processes, and procedures Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in production engineering, preferably in the banking industry Strong knowledge of core banking systems, preferably experience with CBS Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting Proficient in SQL and database management Experience with automation tools and scripting languages Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of regulatory requirements and security standards in the banking industry Willingness to work in a 24/7 production support environment Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus If you are a self-motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for technology and banking, we want to hear from you!
