We're looking for a high-ownership engineer who enjoys building products, solving real-world operational challenges, and leveraging AI to create meaningful business impact.

About the Role

This is a high-impact engineering role that spans product development, platform engineering, infrastructure, internal systems, and AI-native workflows. Working closely with leadership, you'll build customer-facing features, improve internal operations platforms, own production reliability, and develop AI-powered solutions that enhance both customer and operational experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Product Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable product features across web applications and internal platforms
• Build APIs, backend services, frontend interfaces, dashboards, and administrative tools
• Improve customer experiences by translating operational challenges into product improvements
• Collaborate with product, operations, and business teams to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization

Platform & Infrastructure

• Maintain and improve application reliability, scalability, and security
• Manage deployments, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and observability
• Improve system architecture and engineering practices to support business growth
• Ensure production systems remain performant and resilient

Production Ownership

• Investigate and resolve production issues across applications, databases, APIs, and infrastructure
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions
• Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response processes
• Own services from development through deployment and ongoing maintenance

AI Systems & Automation

• Design and build AI-powered workflows to improve internal operations and customer experiences
• Develop solutions using LLMs, AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and workflow automation
• Build reliable AI systems with appropriate guardrails, evaluation frameworks, monitoring, and human oversight
• Understand AI system risks including hallucination, sensitive data exposure, prompt injection, tool misuse, and weak context handling
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve operational efficiency, productivity, and service quality
• Stay current with the evolving AI landscape and evaluate new tools, models, and patterns for business value

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with engineering, operations, product, and leadership teams
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Document systems, workflows, and technical decisions
• Take complete ownership from problem discovery to implementation and continuous improvement

Who We're Looking For

• 4–8+ years of experience in Full Stack/Product Engineering
• Strong experience with Node.js/Python, React/Next.js, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring, and production debugging
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, OpenAI/Claude APIs, RAG, AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, and workflow automation
• Experience building internal tools, admin panels, or operations platforms is highly preferred
• Strong ownership mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Startup or product company experience is a plus

Good to Have

• Background in product companies, AI startups, SaaS, fintech, or developer tools
• Experience as a Founding Engineer, Product Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE, or AI Engineer
• Experience with AI agents, RAG, tool calling, agent SDKs, or AI observability
• Experience in high-growth startup or high-ownership environments
