Senior Product Designer

Zuddl is the unified event platform that B2B marketing teams at companies like CrowdStrike, Figma, Stripe, TikTok, Checkpoint, and Iterable use to run their most important conferences, field events, and webinars, all from one system. We're backed by Y Combinator, Alpha Wave, and Qualcomm Ventures, and we're going after every legacy player in a market that's being rebuilt from scratch.

About The Role

Zuddl is looking for a senior product designer who thinks in problems, not screens, and has rebuilt their workflow around AI to move faster than a traditional design process allows.

Design at Zuddl doesn't look like it did two years ago. Our designers prototype in code with AI, test ideas as working software instead of static mocks, and go from problem framing to a clickable prototype in hours, not weeks. Figma is still in the toolkit, but it's no longer where most of the thinking happens.

How Designers Work At Zuddl

We've changed how design works here over the last couple of years. Instead of presenting static mocks, we build interactive HTML prototypes with AI and let stakeholders click through real flows, with real states and edge cases. Ideas get tested as working software early, which means we can explore several directions in the time it used to take to polish one.

AI is part of every phase of our process: research, ideation, UX writing, prototyping, and design system work. We also invest in our own tooling and reusable workflows so the whole team keeps getting faster. But AI doesn't make the decisions. What ships still comes down to a designer's judgment about the user, the business, and the product.

What Will You Do

• Own design problems from framing through shipping. You'll define the problem, explore directions, prototype, test, and work with engineering to get it live, without needing much oversight
• Work with Product and Engineering as a partner in shaping what gets built, including pushing back on requirements when the brief is solving the wrong problem
• Design for both sides of our platform, on web and mobile: the event experiences attendees see, and the data-heavy tables, settings, and workflows organizers live in every day
• Build interactive prototypes with AI as part of your regular process, and help the team improve its tooling and workflows over time
• Contribute to our design system as you go, so the quality you add compounds instead of staying local to one feature
• Handle a few workstreams at once and decide your own priorities
• Give direct, useful critique, take it well, and explain your design decisions to people outside design
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 5 to 7 years of product design experience, at least 2 of them on B2B products
• Strong product judgment. You understand the business goal behind a request, question briefs that solve the wrong problem, and make trade-offs between user needs, business outcomes, and engineering effort
• Depth in complex UX: multi-step workflows, data-dense interfaces, edge cases, and error and empty states
• Real experience shipping on both web and mobile, and comfort moving between the two: iOS/Android patterns, responsive behavior, platform constraints
• Fluent with AI in your daily workflow. It's a tool, not the job, but we expect it to be your default for exploration, prototyping, and iteration, and you should be able to show us how. Prototyping in code (HTML/CSS/React) is a plus
• High craft and speed together: a track record of moving fast in ambiguous environments without the work looking rushed
• A portfolio of recent, real work, ideally live products or interactive prototypes, with the thinking behind it, not just the output
