Job Description
Who we want: Vocera now a part of Stryker is looking for a Senior Product Analyst drives product insights, documentation, and operational excellence across the Product Management team. Operating with greater independence, this role delivers actionable data insights, ensures clear communication to downstream teams, and improves product and process performance through best practices. What you will do: Data & Insights Independently analyze product adoption, usage, and performance metrics. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to influence product decisions. Build and automate dashboards and recurring reports for real-time visibility. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer Own the creation of user-facing documentation (release notes, guides, FAQs). Partner with Product Owners to produce clear journey maps, workflows, and diagrams. Lead transfer-of-information sessions to enable downstream commercial and support teams. Product Operations & Process Improvement Maintain and improve backlog hygiene practices, ensuring readiness and prioritization. Identify and drive process improvements for backlog refinement, release readiness, and reporting. Promote disciplined use of metrics (e.g., backlog health, sprint predictability). Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as a trusted partner to Product Owners, Engineering, and commercial teams. Advocate for customer enhancements by capturing and sharing product data. Mentor junior Product Analysts, sharing best practices in analysis and documentation. General Responsibilities: Under minimal supervision, work with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing and Project Management to ensure project success. Quickly process and assimilate procedures, policies, processes, systems, and technology required. Work on complex problems, applying advanced experience and learnings. Demonstrate ownership and prioritize work with minimal supervision. Works as key member of the team, collaborating with others and solidifying relationships. Minimum Qualifications (Required): Bachelor?s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Information Systems, or similar technical degree preferred. 2+ years of work experience Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired): Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, charts). Strong technical writing skills (drafting release notes, guides, and process docs). Understanding of Agile/Scrum principles (terminology, ceremonies, backlog flow). Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker ? at the user level). Strong Agile practice knowledge (capacity planning, backlog health metrics, predictability tracking). Preferred Skills / Engineering tools: Experience with backlog management tools (e.g., Jira dashboards, custom queries, integrations with Aha!/Confluence). Ability to create process maps and workflows in Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalent.
