Senior Process Engineer

NexPoD Energy is hiring a Senior Process Engineer to design and validate the assembly process for our LFP-based Battery Energy Storage Systems, from bare cell to finished pack.

This is a ground-floor opportunity. You will not inherit a process. You will build one.

What You'll Own:

• Design the factory floor plan and line layout for our BESS pack assembly facility in Coimbatore
• Evaluate, select, and qualify all assembly machinery: cell handling, laser welding, BMS integration, EOL testing
• Define and document SOPs, work instructions, takt time, and line balancing
• Validate the complete assembly process from bare LFP prismatic cell to finished battery pack
• Lead PFMEA, DFM reviews, and process qualification with quality and engineering teams
• Drive continuous improvement on yield, cycle time, and throughput from Day 1

You Are:

• B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Electrical Engineering
• 4 to 8 years in battery pack, EV, or industrial automation manufacturing
• Hands-on with LFP prismatic cell assembly: modules, busbars, BMS integration, testing
• Comfortable owning a process end-to-end without waiting to be told what to do
• Bonus: Experience with laser welding, liquid-cooled pack assembly, or MES integration
