Job Description
Location: Hyderabad | Hybrid Experience: 5+ years Job Description: Primary Skills: Expertise in PostgreSQL (schemas, functions, triggers, views, procedures). Strong SQL query writing, optimization, and performance tuning. Experience with execution plans , indexing , and data modeling . Knowledge of transactions , concurrency , and isolation levels . Integration experience with Java/Python applications. Exposure to cloud PostgreSQL (AWS RDS/Aurora, GCP Cloud SQL/Spanner). Experience in database performance improvement and migration from legacy DBs. Proficiency in shell scripting and familiarity with Elasticsearch . Secondary Skills: Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (pgTAP, DbUnit). Experience with PostgreSQL extensions (PostGIS, pg_stat_statements, TimescaleDB). Hands-on with backup/recovery , HA , and database security . Familiarity with ETL tools (Airflow, Talend, dbt) and streaming tools (Kafka, ActiveMQ). Understanding of CI/CD for database deployments.
