Role Overview

Univest is looking for a Senior Performance Copywriter who can create high-converting, data-driven copy that drives user acquisition and measurable growth across digital channels.

This role sits at the intersection of creative storytelling and performance marketing, where every piece of copy is optimized for click-through rates, conversions, and campaign scalability. You will work closely with the Growth, Marketing, and Creative teams to develop ad creatives, landing page messaging, and campaign copy that directly impacts user acquisition and revenue.

The ideal candidate has strong experience working with B2C or D2C brands and understands how to craft messaging that resonates with consumer audiences while delivering measurable marketing outcomes.


Key Responsibilities


Performance Ad Copy

  • Write high-converting ad copy for paid acquisition channels including Meta, Google, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
  • Develop compelling hooks, headlines, and messaging frameworks that drive higher click-through and engagement rates.
  • Collaborate with designers and growth marketers to produce high-performing ad creatives at scale.

Conversion-Focused Messaging

  • Create conversion-driven copy for landing pages, app install campaigns, and growth funnels.
  • Translate product features and value propositions into clear, persuasive messaging that drives user action.
  • Continuously refine copy based on campaign performance insights and user behavior data.

Experimentation & Optimization

  • Work with the growth team to run A/B tests on ad copy, creative messaging, and landing page content.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics such as:
  • Click-through rates (CTR)
  • Conversion rates
  • Cost per acquisition (CPA)
  • Engagement metrics
  • Iterate messaging strategies to continuously improve campaign performance.

Creative Strategy & Campaign Ideation

  • Contribute to campaign concepts and creative angles for acquisition campaigns.
  • Identify emerging creative trends and storytelling formats that improve ad performance.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across paid campaigns, growth funnels, and marketing channels.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in performance copywriting or growth marketing roles.
  • Proven track record of writing high-performing ad copy for B2C or D2C brands.
  • Strong understanding of consumer psychology and conversion-driven messaging.
  • Hands-on experience working with paid marketing channels such as Meta, Google, and YouTube.
  • Ability to translate performance insights into scalable copy frameworks.
  • Strong collaboration skills with growth, marketing, and design teams.
