About The Role

DNV is building a Global Payroll Centre in Pune to deliver standardized, high-quality payroll services across North and South Asia. We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to support multi-country payroll operations, vendor management, and global payroll improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support payroll consolidation and transition activities into the Global Centre.
  • Execute and oversee multi-country payroll and compensation processes.
  • Review and validate payroll outputs from external vendors.
  • Manage payroll reporting, reconciliations, tax updates, and year-end activities.
  • Ensure delivery against defined SLAs, KPIs, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide Level 2 payroll support to employees, HR, and managers.
  • Maintain accurate payroll and process documentation.
  • Partner with Regional Payroll, HR, Finance, and external providers.
  • Contribute to payroll standardization, process improvements, and global projects.
  • Stay current on payroll legislation, market trends, and best practices.

About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of multi-country payroll experience.
  • Proven experience in global payroll (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of payroll compliance and vendor-based delivery models.
  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
  • Experience with HR/payroll systems (e.g., Oracle HCM, BMC Service Management) is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages preferred.

  • Payroll-related certification is a plus.
