Job Title: Senior Patent Analyst Location: Gurgaon (Hybrid) Experience: 2 ? 7 years Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech (ECE, CSE/IT, EEE) About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Patent Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in patent drafting, claim drafting, and prosecution with strong exposure to USPTO/EPO filings. This role requires deep technical understanding, legal acumen, and the ability to deliver high-quality patent specifications in line with global standards. Key Responsibilities ? Draft high-quality patent applications (US and EP) with a focus on clarity, precision, and legal strength. ? Prepare claims, specifications, and drawings in compliance with USPTO/EPO requirements. ? Manage the prosecution process, including responding to office actions and examiner queries. ? Conduct patentability assessments, prior art searches, and technical analysis for inventions. ? Collaborate with inventors, R&D; teams, and attorneys to understand technical disclosures and translate them into strong patent applications. ? Review and refine drafts prepared by junior analysts to ensure quality and consistency. Key Skills & Competencies ? Strong knowledge of US drafting, US prosecution, USPTO rules, and EPO standards. ? Expertise in patent drafting, claim drafting, and specification preparation. ? Experience in handling patent applications end-to-end. ? Ability to communicate complex technical ideas in clear, structured legal language. ? Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Requirements ? 2?7 years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution. ? Must have drafted at least 50?100 patent applications for USPTO/EPO. ? Degree in ECE, CSE/IT, or EEE (B.Tech / M.Tech). ? Familiarity with patent databases, tools, and legal frameworks.
