Senior Opex Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for Operational Excellence activities, including conducting Opex & Adex Assessments at Plant Level, conducting workshops, training the workforce across various methods & tools, prepare MIS reports/PPTs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop SPS Culture (Synchronized Production System), contribute to data-driven decision-making processes across the organization.

Your job:

• Conduct SPS assessment for Direct & Indirect Areas including Production, Intralogistics & Finished Goods Area
• Conduct Gemba Walk, 5S & maintain CIP scoresheet for Direct Areas
• Co-ordinate with HQ & regional colleagues to understand & implement new standards
• Conduct SMED workshops to optimize the setup times, VSM & VSD to streamline the process in direct areas. Implement Swimlane & Digital OFM for Indirect Areas. Strong knowledge of Lean Methods & Tools
• Conduct various Workshops including One Approach & drive activity Marathon
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports using Power BI Dashboard, analyze operational data, and generate actionable insights for performance tracking and decision-making
• Support standardization of processes through SOP creation and ensure adherence to Industrial Engineering best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, maintenance) to ensure smooth execution of improvement initiatives

Our Requirements:

• 6-8 Years experience in handling Lean/Opex in Manufacturing/Automotive Industry with a hands-on experience in Toyota Production Systems (TPS) or equivalent will be preferred
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial or Productional Engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify improvements
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis, reporting, and presentations
• Strong in Power BI with understanding of dashboards using DAX
