About the Role: The Operations Lead will oversee all operational and delivery aspects of assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction, profitability, and process efficiency. This role requires coordination across multiple departments (project management, delivery teams, HR, finance, and admin) to streamline operations, meet deadlines, and drive organizational growth.


Responsibilities:


  1. Operational Leadership & Project Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of manufacturing and digital transformation projects, ensuring adherence to scope, quality, timelines, and budget.
  • Manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously across manufacturing and industrial engineering domains.
  • Drive resource planning, utilization, and workforce optimization to maximize productivity and project profitability.
  • Monitor project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for resolving project, customer, and operational issues.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational delivery standards and governance processes.


2. Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering Excellence

  • Lead initiatives related to Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Factory & Production Planning or Similar areas.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Industry Best Practices.
  • Support implementation of smart manufacturing strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.


3. Digital Factory & Industry 4.0 Solutions

  • Oversee the development and deployment of Digital Twin solutions, 3D Digital Factory models, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to implement automation, IoT, analytics, and digital manufacturing solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging manufacturing technologies and digital transformation opportunities.


4. Team Leadership & People Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary engineering and consulting teams.
  • Establish performance objectives, KPIs, and development plans for team members.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and succession planning activities.
  • Resolve team and customer conflicts through effective stakeholder management.


5. Customer Engagement & Delivery Governance

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Ensure transparent communication regarding project status, risks, and deliverables.
  • Conduct governance reviews and executive steering committee meetings.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and long-term partnership growth.
  • Support proposal development, solution presentations, and customer workshops.


6. Strategic Planning & Process Optimization

  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement best practices to enhance delivery performance.
  • Define and track operational metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Optimize project execution methodologies and resource utilization.
  • Manage operational costs and contribute to improved profitability.


7. Business Growth & Reporting

  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and manufacturing domains.
  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support revenue growth.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and performance reviews.
  • Present key business insights, project outcomes, and recommendations to senior leadership.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Mechanical & Industrial Engineering or related fields.


Required Skills:

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Industrial Engineering, Digital Manufacturing, MS Project, and Power BI.
  • Strategic Thinking: Analytical and problem-solving skills to drive improvements.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Resilience: Ability to handle multiple priorities and high-pressure situations.
  • Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering high-quality results.
