Senior Nodejs Developer (Backend SDE III)

Role Description As a Backend SDE-III at Primathon, you will be a senior individual contributor driving the development of complex backend systems. You?ll take on challenging technical problems, contribute to architecture and design, and set high standards for code quality and performance. While you?ll mentor junior engineers, your focus will remain on deep technical execution rather than people management. Key Responsibilities 1. Build and scale backend applications using Node.js with a focus on high performance and reliability. 2. Take ownership of end-to-end modules, ensuring timely delivery with high-quality code. 3. Participate in system design and architecture discussions, providing inputs on scalability, reliability, and performance. 4. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. 5. Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to SDE-I and SDE-II engineers. 6. Debug and resolve complex technical issues across the backend stack. 7. Implement and advocate for engineering best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing. 8. Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and bring improvements to the team. Qualifications 1. Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and Node.js 2. Strong knowledge of JavaScript and expertise in creating efficient server-side applications 3. Experience working with Front-End Development and familiarity with technologies like Redux.js 4. Background in designing scalable and maintainable software solutions 5. Ability to work in a hybrid setup and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills 6. Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 7. Familiarity with cloud services, databases, and agile development methodologies is a plus
