Senior Node.js Developer (AWS cloud )

Role Overview:

We are looking for a "Rockstar" Senior Node.js Engineer who lives and breathes high-performance backend systems. You aren't just a coder; you are a technical architect and a leader. You will be responsible for designing scalable cloud infrastructures, mentoring a talented technical team, and ensuring our platform's stability and security in the Kuwaiti market.

Core Responsibilities:

• Architecture & Development: Architect, develop, and maintain high-scale, low-latency applications using Node.js and TypeScript.

• Cloud Infrastructure: Design and manage cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) focusing on Serverless, Microservices, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).

• Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor the engineering team, conduct rigorous Code Reviews, and establish best practices for the SDLC.

• Database Design: Optimize complex schemas for PostgreSQL (SQL) and MongoDB/Redis (NoSQL).

• DevOps & Security: Implement robust CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and enterprise-grade security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, Encryption at rest/transit).

• Problem Solving: Tackle complex performance bottlenecks and provide long-term structural solutions rather than quick fixes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6-8+ years of backend development experience, with at least 4+ years focused on Node.js.

• Mastery of Asynchronous programming, Event Loops, and Node.js internals.

• Proven experience in Cloud Architecture (Auto-scaling, Load Balancing, Global Distribution).

• Strong command of Message Brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and Caching strategies.

• Deep understanding of Clean Architecture and SOLID principles.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.

• Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Kuwait.
