Who you are We are seeking a skilled Senior .NET Developer to manage and lead our development team in implementing and maintaining innovative software solutions. This role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect robust solutions, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality applications. What you'll do Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment focused on excellence Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and support team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects Design and develop scalable, efficient, and maintainable .NET solutions that meet business requirements Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and tools to enhance project outcomes Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring application stability and optimal performance Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes, tools, and methodologies within the .NET framework Demonstrate flexibility with availability during evening hours Remove periods at the end of the of each bullet What we're looking for 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on .NET technologies 6+ years of experience with .NET Core and .NET Framework 6+ years of experience with REST API and Web API services Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Angular Experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, and S3 Strong understanding of public cloud architectures and Agile methodologies Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field Excellent communication skills, strong initiative, and a proactive approach to problem-solving Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively Remove periods at the end of the of each bullet Our Stack Languages + Frameworks: TypeScript, React, Scala (principally), Java (limited) Datastores: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake Cloud: AWS Version control: Git & GitHub AI Tooling: Copilot on GitHub Observability: Datadog When you join Metropolis, you’ll join a team of world-class product leaders and engineers, building an ecosystem of technologies at the intersection of parking, mobility, and real estate.
