Senior Mobile Application Developer

Job Description

Location: Mumbai (On-site) Experience: 5?10 years About the Role: As a Mobile App Developer, you?ll design, build, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android . You?ll work closely with design and backend teams, optimize app performance, and help manage releases through modern CI/CD workflows. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain cross-platform apps using React Native (TypeScript) + Expo Ship features end-to-end: requirements ? architecture ? implementation ? testing ? release Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, manage auth flows, caching, and error handling Manage releases with EAS , OTA updates , and app store submissions Set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitrise) Implement unit, integration, and E2E testing (Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox) Monitor performance and crashes (Sentry, Firebase) and optimize startup & bundle size Required Skills: Strong expertise in React Native , Expo , and TypeScript Solid understanding of state management (Redux/Zustand/Recoil) Experience with offline storage, push notifications, and in-app purchases Strong Git, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum knowledge REST/GraphQL integration, websockets, JSON handling Degree in CS/SE or equivalent hands-on experience Nice to have: Understanding of platform-specific UX (iOS HIG, Android Material) Store policies: App Store Review Guidelines & Google Play policies Privacy: iOS Privacy Manifest, SDK data disclosures Android packaging (AAB, Play-managed signing, dynamic delivery) Background processing: iOS BackgroundTasks, Android WorkManager Notifications, foreground services (Android 14+) Widgets, Live Activities, experiments, feature flags Security: Keychain/Keystore, cert pinning, OWASP MASVS Ability to write small native modules (Swift/Kotlin/Obj-C/Java) i18n/l10n, RTL support, store metadata Familiarity with AWS/GCP/Azure, Firebase, feature-flag services What you'll work on New feature development for our flagship apps, plus greenfield initiatives. Performance & reliability improvements (bundle size, Hermes, build times, app startup). Release automation (EAS + store submissions), staged rollouts, and experimentation frameworks.
