- The Head – Marketing will be responsible for driving store footfall, walk‑in conversions, and repeat visits across The Organic World retail stores. This role demands a hands‑on retail marketing leader with proven experience in offline marketing, local catchment activation, in‑store campaigns, and community‑led growth. The role does not focus on pure digital or brand marketing—its core purpose is retail sales and footfall generation.
- Own and drive store footfall, ticket size, and same‑store sales growth.
- Design and execute hyper‑local marketing strategies for each store based on catchment insights.
- Plan store‑specific calendars covering festivals, weekends, new launches, and seasonal peaks.
- Conceptualize and execute offline marketing initiatives:
- In‑store promotions
- Sampling & tasting events
- Health workshops & community events
- Resident welfare association (RWA) tie‑ups
- Local partnerships (gyms, schools, clinics)
- Ensure strong visual merchandising coordination, POS communication, and offer visibility.
- Build strong local engagement to position The Organic World as a neighborhood organic destination.
- Drive loyalty and repeat visits through membership programs, loyalty offers, and referral initiatives.
- Work closely with store teams to activate grass‑root level marketing ideas.
- Track and analyze footfall, conversion rates, campaign ROI, and repeat customer metrics.
- Use insights to refine campaigns and improve store‑level effectiveness.
- Maintain store‑wise marketing dashboards and reports for leadership review.
- Partner with store operations, supply chain, and category teams to ensure campaign readiness.
- Train store staff on campaigns, offers, and customer communication.
- Manage vendors for print, events, activation, and local media.
- Ensure consistent brand communication across all stores while allowing local customization.
- Maintain high standards of store look, feel, and customer experience.
- 8+ years of experience ONLY in retail / brick‑and‑mortar store marketing
- Experience working with grocery, FMCG, food, lifestyle, wellness, or supermarket chains
- Strong exposure to multi‑store retail environments
- Proven success in driving footfall and walk‑ins, not just brand awareness
