Job Title: Senior Manager – Procurement & Supply Chain
Location: Kozhikode / Kerala
Language : English, Malayalam, Hindi Proficiency is Mandatory
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Manager – Procurement & Supply Chain to lead and manage the organization’s procurement strategy, supply chain operations, vendor management, and compliance processes. The role will focus on ensuring cost-effective procurement, maintaining quality standards, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring procurement activities comply with internal audit and regulatory requirements. The candidate will also lead and manage the procurement team to achieve organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Supply Chain
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including vendor sourcing, negotiations, purchase order management, and contract administration.
- Ensure timely procurement and supply chain coordination to support operational requirements.
- Monitor procurement activities to ensure cost optimization and efficient resource utilization.
- Implement and manage ERP-based procurement and inventory systems.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Conduct price negotiations and contract finalization with vendors.
- Maintain long-term relationships with suppliers and ensure service quality.
Audit & Compliance
- Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, audit standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during procurement and supply chain audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all procurement transactions.
- Implement corrective measures based on audit observations and compliance reviews.
Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, supervise, and mentor the procurement and supply chain team.
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure team productivity and efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance procurement capabilities.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare procurement reports, vendor performance evaluations, and cost analysis reports.
- Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Present procurement performance updates to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 5–6 years of experience in a managerial role with team management responsibilities.
- Experience in ERP systems, procurement tools, and audit compliance processes is required.
