Senior Manager – Finance (GL Controller & Subsidiary Accounting)

Job Objective & Key Responsibilities

The person needs to control and oversee the GL Accounting operations for Pan India and the activities of the team include:

1. General Ledger & Journal Entries

• Record accurate journal entries, including adjustments, accruals, and petty cash settlements.
• Assist in monthly closing activities, supporting P&L and Balance Sheet accuracy.
• Perform supplier ledger matching.
• Monthly Provisions and Accruals
• Accounting as per IND AS 116/109

2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Assist in Taxation Assessments as per requirement
• Support TDS deduction and filings as per compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors for periodic and statutory audits.

3. Reporting & MIS

• Prepare financial summaries, helping in Overhead Controlling
• Share monthly GL reports with management for Accounting Control
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

4. Subsidiary Accounting

• Ensure tallying of Subsidiary Balances
• Monthly and Yearly consolidation of Subsidiary Books
• Ensuring completeness and accuracy of Subsidiary Accounting.

Qualifications

• CA with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in computer applications and financial systems.
• Team handling experience is a plus

Preferred Experience

• Solid understanding of accounting principles; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Exposure to the aviation industry is a plus.
