About the Role This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai & Ahmedabad for a Manager / Senior Manager - Chartered Accountant. The role involves leading and managing multiple client engagements to provide high-quality services. Responsibilities include overseeing audits, tax filings, compliance and regulatory reporting, advising clients on financial matters, managing junior staff, and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Responsibilities Lead and manage Direct Tax compliance for corporate and non-corporate clients including tax computations, returns, and audits. Handle tax assessments, appeals, and representations before tax authorities, CIT (Appeals), ITAT, and assist in High Court/Supreme Court matters. Provide advisory services on corporate tax planning, structuring, and cross-border taxation. Draft replies, submissions, opinions, and representations to tax authorities. Stay updated on developments in tax laws and ensure timely dissemination of regulatory updates to clients and internal teams. Supervise, mentor, and train junior team members to enhance their technical and professional skills. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing strategic tax insights. Qualifications Chartered Accountant (CA). 8?15 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Direct Tax and Litigation. Strong understanding of Income-tax laws, Double Tax Avoidance Agreements (DTAA), and International Taxation. Excellent drafting, communication, and client-handling skills. Proven ability to represent before tax authorities and manage litigation independently. Pay range and compensation package Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
