Senior Manager - Digital Operations and Automation

Job description

The Senior Manager – Digital Operations & Automation is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operational delivery of digital gift card products, including order fulfilment, brand sourcing, stock management, and process optimisation.

The role leads the development and implementation of automation, system improvements, and operational efficiencies to ensure seamless digital product delivery, scalable operations, and strong supplier partnerships.Operations & Process

• Design and implement scalable operations processes across merchant and B2B business
• Define and monitor SLAs, turnaround times and operational KPIs
• Identify operational gaps and drive continuous process improvements

Automation & Systems

• Reduce manual work through automation and system-led workflows
• Work with product and tech teams to automate operational processes
• Drive adoption of tools, APIs and internal systems

Merchant & Client Operations

• Oversee merchant onboarding, catalogue management, fulfilment and reconciliation
• Ensure smooth operational delivery for enterprise clients
• Manage merchant and client escalations and ensure SLA adherence

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop the operations team
• Set clear targets, SLAs and performance metrics
• Ensure strong execution discipline and accountability

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Liaise with commercial, product, tech and finance teams
• Ensure alignment between business, operations and technology
• Coordinate cross-department efforts to resolve operational issues and improve processes

Requirements :

• 10+ years experience in operations in banking, fintech, SaaS or digital platforms
• Proven experience managing operations teams
• Strong background in process optimisation, SLA management and automation
• Experience working with external clients and merchant partners
• Strong ownership, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
