Job Description

Responsibilities Support installation and configuration of SCADA servers, HMIs, RTUs, PLCs, and networking equipment. Validate data points, control logic, and alarm configurations for BESS components. Ensure seamless integration with Energy Management System (EMS), Battery Management System (BMS), and inverter controls. Configure and test communication protocols. Ensure reliable data flow between field devices and central SCADA system. Support integration with remote monitoring platforms. Conduct functional testing of SCADA screens, control commands, and data logging. Troubleshoot communication failures, data mismatches, and system alarms. Collaborate with OEMs and IT teams to resolve hardware/software issues. Implement cybersecurity measures including firewalls, access controls, and secure communication. Maintain detailed commissioning logs, configuration files, and test reports. Prepare and record the pre-commissioning and commissioning protocols. Share the learning/observations to Engineering for future improvement. Carrying out Engineering review, Testing, FAT, commissioning and O&M. Good experience with programming and configuring SCADA software packages, PLC platforms, Microsoft Operating Systems, OPC, SQL, and OLE clients and servers, firewalls etc. Working experience with various protocols like Modbus RTU/ASCII, CAN, Modbus TCP/IP, OPC, IEC61850, IEC-60870-5-101/104 etc. Perform I/O loop testing, wire tracing and identification. Provide Support to Group initiatives for Implementation & Audit of OT Cyber Security procedures and Policies. Enhance and improve the OT Security Postures at All Plants and Site by implementation of various standard & Secure practices. Experience in Engineering, FAT & Commissioning of various OEM BESS-BMS, PCS & EMS system Qualifications Bachelor?s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Control Engineering.
