Qualification: LL.B. (Specialization in Real Estate / Property Law) Location: Kolkata Experience: 10+ Years About the Role We?re seeking an experienced Senior Legal Manager to lead and manage all land acquisition, legal, and statutory approval processes for large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects across India . The role involves complete end-to-end ownership ? from land identification and validation to registration, documentation, and statutory clearances . Key Responsibilities A. Land & Legal Matters Identify and evaluate suitable land parcels and partners in multiple states. Conduct due diligence, title verification, and manage all registration processes. Draft and review sale deeds, MoUs, and other legal documents. Handle land mutation, conversion, and land use change with government authorities. Manage land-related litigations, legal disputes, and documentation compliance. B. Statutory & Approval Matters Obtain necessary approvals from Panchayat, Zila Parishad, Development Authorities, and other government departments. Liaise with regulatory agencies and ensure timely completion of all statutory processes. Stay updated on real estate, RERA, and land development regulations. Resolve legal or compliance roadblocks impacting project timelines. Required Skills & Attributes Strong knowledge of real estate and land acquisition laws . Proven experience in legal documentation, property registration, and due diligence . Excellent liaison skills with government departments and statutory authorities. Strong drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills. Proficiency in legal research and compliance management .
