Summary of Role:

• Provide technical leadership and architectural direction for CLEAN ENERGY application platforms.
• Define application architecture, technology stack, coding standards, and best practices.
• Ensure scalability, modularity, maintainability, and performance of all CLEAN ENERGY applications.

Job Accountabilities:

• Lead the design and development of end-to-end web applications supporting CLEAN ENERGY workflows.
• Oversee the development of responsive front-end interfaces for engineers, operators, and management dashboards.
• Lead the development of robust back-end services, APIs, microservices, and business logic for CLEAN ENERGY data and processes.
• Translate CLEAN ENERGY business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.
• Guide the development of applications supporting exploration and subsurface data visualization; drilling and well information management; gasification process and production monitoring; and environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance reporting.
• Work closely with CLEAN ENERGY engineers, geologists, production, and operations teams to ensure domain accuracy.
• Lead integration with databases, data warehouses, and enterprise data platforms handling CLEAN ENERGY data.
• Design and govern REST/API-based integrations with GIS, subsurface systems, analytics platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Optimize applications for large datasets and real-time/near-real-time data streams.
• Oversee deployments across on-premise and hybrid/cloud environments in line with organizational standards.
• Enforce secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
• Ensure applications comply with organizational IT security policies, audit requirements, and regulatory obligations relevant to CLEAN ENERGY operations.
• Lead CI/CD pipeline adoption, version control, and release management.
• Oversee unit, integration, system, and performance testing strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and guide full-stack developers and technical teams.
• Collaborate with GIS, Data Management, Analytics, IT Infrastructure, cybersecurity teams, and external vendors.

Skills Required:

• Expert-level experience in full-stack development (front-end and back-end).
• Strong proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, or equivalent).
• Strong proficiency in back-end technologies (Java, Python, Node.js, .NET).
• Deep experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with data visualization, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and audit controls.
• Strong technical decision-making ability and architecture ownership.
• Ability to convert complex business needs into scalable solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in operational environments.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in full-stack development and technical leadership roles.

Preferred Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications in software architecture, cloud platforms, DevOps, or application security will be an added advantage.
