Job Description

Lead and supervise preparation of electrical design deliverables: drawings, calculations, reports, and technical specifications for traction power supply systems.
Specialize in DC traction systems (750V DC, 1500V DC, or similar), including feeder arrangements, substation layouts, and protection schemes.
Conduct and review power system studies (load flow, short circuit, harmonic analysis) for DC traction networks.
Ensure compliance with international standards (EN, IEC, IEEE, RDSO) and project-specific requirements.
Plan, monitor, and control design schedules to meet project milestones.
Interface with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams for design coordination and approvals.
Manage design changes, technical queries, and propose value engineering solutions.
Support procurement with technical evaluations of electrical equipment (rectifiers, switchgear, transformers, protection systems).
Conduct and review the BOQ, BOM for the projects.
Preparation and review of technical proposals, BOQ for the tendering pojects
Provide technical leadership in integration OCS/Third rail with traction power supply.
Mentor junior engineers and ensure adherence to quality and constructability standards.
