Responsibilities
Roles & responsibilities
We are recruiting for an Assistant Manager in the Financial Service Audit team. In this team, your responsibilities will include leading a team of experienced professionals, perform reviews and work on Audit engagements of international KPMG teams and Financial Service and/or international clients. In addition, you will be required to:
•Leading and managing a team comprising of fresh graduates and experienced professionals.
•Auditing and incharging complex sections of the financial statements of companies or end to end audit as per country specific statutory requirements.
•Prepare and present audit workpapers, document audit procedures and audit findings.
•Identify issues/missing information, manage & track the open issues until resolved.
•Monitoring work, managing, and motivating the team to ensure deliverables are meeting necessary quality standards.
•Being active member of the Financial Service Audit engagement team and perform and supervise in audit procedures
•Contacting client and onshore team regularly to update on the progress of audit engagement.
•Sharing knowledge, mentoring, and coaching the team members.
•Identification of issues/missing information and managing & tracking the open issues until resolved.
•Maintaining the data confidentiality and adherence to the risk management policy by the team members.
•Performance review of the team.
•Review of the team’s work and to provide timely feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance.
•Building relationships with senior stakeholders both onshore as well as KRC.
Qualifications
This role is for you if you have the below
Educational qualifications
•Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. CA or ACCA)
Work experience
•The candidate must have 1- 5 years of relevant post qualification experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big4 accounting.
•Experience: IFRS 9 and Credit risk knowledge preferred but at the least strong Banking knowledge and experience
