Senior JavaScript Engineer

Ciklum is looking for an Senior JavaScript Engineer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Senior JavaScript Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Together, we will work on the project focused on designing, building, and maintaining scalable React-based front-end applications integrated with backend services, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and seamless collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain modern React-based front-end applications
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Integrate React applications with backend services and APIs (REST/GraphQL)
• Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, maintainable code
• Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Extensive hands-on experience with React and its core principles
• Experience in creating React front ends and integrating with backend services
• Solid understanding of component-based architecture and state management
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Good understanding of performance optimization and front-end security best practices

Desirable:

• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, etc.)
• Exposure to TypeScript
• Familiarity with modern build tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
